In 2003 Digital Systems was entrusted to design the new National Identification Solution for the DRC. Based on the time frame available in which citizens were able to register , a system was designed to process an average of 468,750 new registrations per day.

With thousands of concurrent connections, users creating, updating and reporting, all real-time via SSL / VPN and other encryption methods, segmented data centers,… all was required to ensure the data integrity and long term viability of the system.
